SCARY!!!!!!
So me and Brandon had an eventful day yesterday. We went to Phoenix this weekend to pick up an order and watch conference with his parents. Well when we were coming home last night, we were in Globe when all the sudden I hear Brandon say, "What the heck is this guy doing?" So I look up and there is a four-runner coming right at us. So Brandon starts to slow down and lays on his horn. The guy slowed down a little bit and tried to move over but we were in the lane right next to the median so there was no where he could go. And there was a semi on the other side of us so we could not move over either. Once the semi realized what was going on he tried to move over as much as he could and this aloud us to get our truck far enough out of the way that he didn't hit the truck. But we were pulling our trailer and there was not room to move it. So we heard the car hit one of the side lights on our trailer and we thought that would stop him but he didn't, he kept trying to go and then he hit he wheel-well, so now he is stuck between our trailer and the median. Brandon was getting a little upset cause this is not the first trailer that has been hit while hooked to his truck (for anybody who didn't know, when we were moving Brandon's parents into their house someone rear ended the trailer and totaled it and bent the frame on Brandon's truck.) Anway, I get the phone to call 911 and the ladies answers and asked where we are and I had not idea, and then she was like, "are you on the highway 60?" and I was like yes, and then she was like, "are you reporting the guy driving down the wrong side of the road?" I said yes but he also hit our trailer. So she dispatched some police officers to us but all the sudden 7 cop cars and two ambulances show up. The reason for this was the officers first got the call saying someone was driving down the wrong side of the road and then they got a call saying that he sit someone, so they all thought it was a head on collision. Anyway, everyone shows up and the get the guy out of his car and he has no idea what is going on and he doesn't really understand what anyone is telling him. But we had to unhook Brandons trailer to move it so we could get it off his car and then they moved us all into a parking lot so we could get out of the street. The officer writing it all up was obviously new and he filled it all out on the wrong paper work and so he had to do it all over again. It took forever!!!! we were there for like an hour and half. But it was kind of sad cause they brought the guy into the parking lot and he got in his car, and he was like searching for something and the officer was like, "what are you looking for?" And the guy said my keys. And the officer was like we have your keys and you are not aloud to drive. And they guy didn't understand why. I really don't think he every had any idea what happened or what was going on. So once all the paper work was filled out they let us leave and I was looking at the police report and the old man was 90 years old!!! If he is that old and that out of it, he should not be driving!! Anyway, lucky no one was hurt and I told Brandon it is probably a good thing that he hit our trailer and not someones car. We probably saved someone life. So it was a fun night.

We moved in!!!!!!
We finally moved into our house. We have been in for almost a month now. Sorry it took so long to post anything but it was a lot of work unpacking all those boxes. Here is a shot of the front of the house. (Sorry about the ladder) There are still some things to be done to the front, we have shutters that will go on the outside that are the same color of the door and there will also be a fence on the front porch that goes from the wall to the little post. So it will look real nice once we get those up. And check out that blue sky.. AMAZING!!!!
Now I decided to just video tape my house instead of taking 5 million pictures so hopefully you can all enjoy it and don't get too sick from my camera skills. Also when I'm outside you can not really hear me taking but I am telling you about my straight driveway instead of the curved driveway we were originally going to have. Anyway, Enjoy!!!!
ok so i just spent an hour waiting for my video to upload and it will not do it. So we will redo our video and break it apart into shorter videos. Sorry, UPdates will come soon.

Oh, Paint!
So funny little story. At least now it is funny. So the other night me and Brandon were at our house painting away.(Someday we might actually finish) I had my paint in a little cup like container and I was painting away feeling good cause I was making good progress. I was in the master painting the baseboards and then a ran into a stack of screens that needed to be moved so I could paint behind them. So I lean over to set my paint cup on the floor and when I did my cell phone that I had in the front pocket of the flannel I was wearing slide right out into the bucket of paint. Yes, I did say my cell phone!!!! I reached in as fast as I could and got it out. I could not believe I just did that. But Brandon to the rescue. He hurried over and took the battery out real fast and cleaned it off and then he hurried out side to the hose to rinse my phone off. He took the hose and just sprayed my phone with it. I totally freaked out and told him he was going to ruin my phone anymore. But then Brandon, being the smart husband he is, told me, "You just dropped your phone in a bucket of paint, I don't think anything could ruin it more." Good point hunny!!! So he rinsed it all off and then took the phone and the battery and put it in his truck in front of the defroster. After letting it sit there for a while he then just set it out to cool off. Surprisingly, thanks to Brandon's great efforts, the phone still turned on when I got back in the truck a little while later. I could not believe it but I was so happy. The only problem was my touch keys. I have a chocolate so half of the buttons only work by touch, like an ipod, so none of those buttons would work. Basically all my phone was good for was answering it but the ear piece was so full of paint when my sister called me I could barely hear her. I was bummed since I have over 300 pictures on my phone that I now had no way to get to. :(
Happy ending though, yesterday I missed a call and I got mad cause I could not look to see who it was so I just kept pushing the button over and over hoping that it would work, and it did!!!!! All the sudden my buttons were working. I was so excited. They are a little slow and some of them stick sometimes but they work and I don't have to buy a new phone. YAY!!!! So after it started working I then spent the rest of the afternoon picking all the paint out of the cracks of my phone with a exact o knife, a staple and my fingernails. It actually looks pretty good, kind of. Anyway, sorry that turned into a really long story but it is just one of those things that will be fun to look back and read in a couple of years!!

Pictures!!!!
I know it seems like the only thing I blog about is our house but really that is the only exciting thing going on right now. And I think it is very exciting!!! So here are some pictures of the inside of the house.
Here is the outside of the house again. They got a little far on the siding. It is so fun to finally see what the finish product is going to look like.
You can't really see much because of the sun but this is Brandon's garage. I guess even if the sun was not there, there is not very much to see. :)
This is one side of the Master Bath. My beautiful deep bathtub in the middle and then each of our closets on the sides. There is also two sinks, a shower and toilet room but I could not get it all in on a camera phone. But I have to say I think this is one of the things that I am most excited for!!!! finally my own bathroom again that isn't all the way across the house. It will be like heaven on earth.
So this picture is side ways but just turn your head and you will see it the right way. This is one side of one of our closets. Can you guess if it is mine or Brandon's???? Every guy at work that has seen this closet tells Brandon, "Man, your wife has a lot of shoes!" and then Brandon, as manly as he can, tells them, "this is not my wife's closet it is mine." Nobody seems to believe him but truly, it is. He has so many shoe racks it cracks me up. But for a man with a lot of shoes, like Brandon, this is the perfect closet.
This picture is sideways too but this is standing in the living room looking at the front door.
Here I am standing in the front entry looking into the living room. Not too exciting yet but everytime I look at it, I can just picture all my furniture in there!!!! YAY!!!
This is the living room also but this is looking towards the dining room and the kitchen. Sorry the lighting is so bad. We have so many windows in our house and it was really bright outside.
Here is looking into the kitchen. We are hoping to have cabinets by the end of this week.
This is our little computer nook. We are going to have have a build in desk and cabinets so I think it should be very nice.
Here is just the inside view of the kitchen. Where the plumbing is coming out of the wall is where the sink will be and then the dishwasher will be on the left hand side and then cabinets on the right hand side. We are going to have a raised bar so you won't be able to see the sink and stuff from the other side.
I didn't realize I took so many sideways picture sorry. But this is standing in the guest bath looking down the hall. I don't know why but I have always loved hallways so I made sure to put one in our house.
This is one of the guest rooms. I love the bay window in it but I am not sure how well a bed will fit in there ??? I guess Rod and Kathy will have to see cause hopefully in a couple weeks this will be there room!!!!
This picture is just to show the paint. You can't really tell the paint colors in the pictures. But we decided we did not want white walls. We had white walls in our last house and I hated them but we never got around to painting them. So we decided we would just start off with a different color. The color we choose was Gobi Desert. I was a little nervous cause on the paint card it looked so dark but then we we got it on the walls it was perfect. I absolutely love it!!! We were going to try and keep things easy and cost down by painting everything the same color. The walls, ceilings, baseboard it was all going to be this color. But then once they did that, it just so boring in the house so we decided to paint all the baseboards and the door trims. So we went and bought a gallon and paint and went to town. We still wanted to keep cost down so we just decided we would do it ourselves. Let me tell you, it is taking forever!!!!! Brandon figured it would not be that big of a deal cause when he working he is the painter so this is what he does all day long. but now that is taking every night and Saturdays, he has decided he should of just had the company do it so he could at least be getting paid!! But is is a little too late. We are hoping a couple late nights this week and we should have it all done.
I didn't get a picture of everything but I got the highlights. The basement looks that same as it always has and it will until we get some more money saved up to build in the rooms. Someday it will happen.
Well that is it for now. I better get to work. I will do my best to keep you all up to date on things.

How Cute is This House???
So there has been a request that I get my act together and update my blog with current house pictures. So I was going to go and get pictures yesterday but by the time I got there it was too dark inside to take any inside picture. So you just get one today, but at least Brandon is in it. I will try again this afternoon to get inside pictures so you can see the walls and paint and all the fun stuff.
So they just started our siding yesterday. I was soooo excited!!! We ordered it FOREVER ago and it was backordered but it finally came in. What was even more exciting is it turned out to be exactly the color we were looking for. We were a little scared because it is really hard to see what they color is on a 1" x 2" sample. so I was pleased when I pulled up yesterday.
We are hoping that it should be finished sometime next month. All we are waiting on now is for the rest of the siding to go up and then our tile should be here on Monday or Tuesday an they are counter and countertops probably they end of next week and then carpet and we will be done. You have no idea how much I am looking forward to unpacking all my stuff after it being in storage for 1 year!!!!! Yes, I have been houseless for 1 year. Please take pity on me :( I am not looking forward to all the dirt and dust that is all over everything but it will be like Christmas finding all of our cool stuff again.
Other than that things are going great! Brandon is still teaching sunday school, and I still just mostly sit there and learn like all the other students. He is by far the best teacher!!!!! I was recently called to be the Relief Society Secretary. I love it!!! It is so fun to be back in a Relief Society Presidency. Some people think I am crazy that I enjoy it so much but it is such a blessing to be able to serve so many women. So I am looking forward to getting to know the sisters in my ward. I hope everyone else is doing great and I will do my best to get more pictures up soon.

Finally a computer that works!!!
So I was really goin try and keep up with my blog after I moved but then we don't have the internet at home and for some reason my work computer will not read my memory card. So the only pictures i ever end up putting on this thing are ones off my phone. Well knew I was going to be at my dad's on the computer for awhile so I thought this would be the perfect time to finally put some pictures on here other than my house. So they are all old pictures now but they are still fun.
Go figure, the first one I do is still of my house!! Here is what it looks like right now. We are in the slow stage right now so it never looks like it changes. But they got all the doors and windows in and put the black paper on the roof. On the inside they are just working on the electrical and the plumbing so nothing too exciting for picture taking. But very exciting for me!!! It was fun to pick where all the outlets and lights and fans go. I also was able to put dimmer lights were I want them, like in the master bedroom, over my bathtub, in the dining room. So I am excited for that. We also just went and pick out the colors of our house and the roof and all that kind of stuff. That was a little stressful. The samples they give you to look at are like 4 inches by 3 inches so it is a little hard to imagine that color the size of a house but I think (hope) it will look great. So things are moving along and we are hoping for a completion of about February or March!!!
This year for our 4th anniversary we spent 8 days in Vegas. We had a blast!! We did a lot of walking but it was fun. We stayed in the Marriot Grand Chateau on the strip. We has a super nice room. It was bigger than our first appartment!! It had a full kitchen so the first thing we did was go grocery shopping so we didn't have to spend all our money eating out. It was so nice to relax for 8 days and not really do too much. We tried to hit all the free shows and attractions. They were a lot of fun. All the people trying to sell you stuff everywhere was really annoying but we found out that they can only sell to you if you are 25 or older and since we are not we were able to get off the hook pretty easily.
This was on the night of our anniversary. We went out to dinner and then went and saw the Ultimate Variety show. This is not one of the big shows you always here about but it was soooo good. We would totally recommend it. The host was so funny and the acts were amazing. What made it really good was we investing in a $20 vegas bite card so we only had to buy one ticket to get us both in. I am probably the only person who bargain shops in Vegas. After the show we rode the shuttle over to the Rio to see the Parade in the Sky. There was a little more skin in it than I remember from before but it is always fun to see.

Which Jessica is Hotter??? Really please don't answer that questions, I can pretend :) One night, on my bargain bite card, we went to the Wax Museam. I love it!!! It is really amazing how real they look.
Brandon with Michael Jackson.

I was trying to hardest to serenade Simon Cowell. Do you think it is working?? Yeah, me neither.

This is one of my favorite. This is who we were looking for through all the rooms. I love how excited Brandon's face is, even if it is not really him. He finally got to meet him!!!!!!! kind of
Brandon wishes he could drive a car that cool. I have to say, he looks pretty cool standing in front of it. Total Hottie!!!!!

We wanted to go do a session at the Las Vegas temple but we only had our rental car for the first day we were there, just to go to the temple and grocery shopping and stuff. But then we remembered that is was conference weekend so the temple was closed. But we went anyway and walked the grounds. It was so beautiful!!! They had so many flowers everywhere. It was so peaceful I could of stayed there all week. Here we are in front of one of the flower beds.
Brandon had his 24th birthday in August. although he is 24 he still got a lot of presents. He is pretty spoiled. He was sad that his mom did not decorate his cake. This is the first in his life that he did not have a decorated cake. :( Brandon is so wonderful and I could never ask for a better husband. He is the sweetest, kindest, funniest guy I know. He does everything he can to support our little family. He teaches me so much everyday. I am so luckly to be able to call myself his wife. He is amazing!!!!!

We also went jet sking for his birthday and I had a picture on here of him but it somehow disappeared. humm!! sorry sweetie

I also had a birthday. 22!! Man I am getting old. Rod and Kathy came over for my birthday and I got a decorated cake. (ha ha brandon) She made it like school since I had just got my job at the school. It was so cute.
Here is just a random picture but I think it is too funny. Brandon took this little motorcycle from my step brother to see if he could fix it. Well as you can see, he did. I can't believe such a little thing can support that much weight but it was so funny to see him riding it. Travis was also riding it which was really funny. oh boys an their toys.

I only have one job now and it is wonderful. I am so excited that I do not have to work on Christmas eve now!!!!!!! Merry Christmas to me!!! It was wonderful day.
Well, if I don't get on here before Christmasm, Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope they will be wonderful!!!

Life in Pima!!!

Here is the most recent picture of our house!!!! It does not have a roof yet but at least we have walls finally!!! It is so fun to be able to walk through it and pick out the rooms and stuff. I love it!!!! We have an estimated completion date of February 1st. :)!!!!
Things in Pima have been extremely busy but wonderful. Brandon is working for the company building our house so it is fun for him to be able to work on it. Him and Travis are also continuing to work on there blind company in there spare time and that is going well. I am working at Pima Elementary and I LOVE it!!!!! I am the secretary in the office. It is fun to work with the kids and be apart of the school spirit again. It is by far my favorite job ever. Unfortunely, after my favorite job I then have to go to my least favorite job which is Wal Mart. I work there in the evenings trying to save some money to close on our house. It is a long day but I am making it. I think ?!?!
Brandon and I just got callings in our ward a couple of weeks ago. We were called to be the 17 and 18 year old sunday school teachers. We have a blast with them. Brandon is amazing with the scripture so I let him do most the teaching. ok all the teaching. but I learn so much from him. I am in charge of getting the lesson materials together and provide treats so I help some.
We recently took a week long trip to vegas. It was so much fun. We had an awesome resort to stay in that was really nice. It was so nice just to get away and not have to think about anything. We took in all the free shows for entertainment. We were there over our anniversary so we splurged a little and bought tickets to the Ulimate Variety show which was amazing. Excellent talent and very funny. We caught up on a lot of sleep and just enjoyed one anothers company. We took lots of pictures but for some reason my computer will not read my camera card so as soon as I can find another computer to use I will upload some of those pictures.
Well I think that pretty much sums up what we are have been doing lately. One day when I find more time on my hands I will be alittle better about updated this things. Until then, well you get the picture!! Love you all!!!!!!!
